" Live your life as unto God "

A few months ago, an alarm was sounded about the end the world occurring on Saturday, May 21 at 6 p.m. Supposedly, an earthquake type tsunami was to hit New Zealand and spread around the globe thus destroying the world. However, we know that it did not occur because you and I are still here and the earth is still in place. For many centuries, the phrase the last days has echoed across the land. I can remember singing in the choir a song by a famous writer, “Soon and very soon, we are going to see the King.” One of my great uncle's favorite songs was “Time, time, time is winding up.” As a result of the messages and the songs, millions have come to know and make the Lord Jesus Christ the Lord of their lives. However, there are others who have grown insensitive to the call and warnings of the Bible altogether.

Let me assure you that the world is not going to be destroyed as predicted because of the covenant God gave to Noah in Genesis 9. The rainbow is a reminder of God's promise. I want to also assure you that there will be a rapture or a catching away of the people of God. Paul reminds us of this in 1 Thessalonians 5.  I also remember that there was a similar prediction for October 21, 2011. Jesus said, “Let not your heart be troubled…” and I echo the same. As people under God, we must not continue to make our decisions based upon everything else, but God. Individual change is our only hope. We are closer than we have ever been before to Christ second coming. Therefore, it is a great time to start living like it. Get your house in order today!
